Hello Groove members, and happy fourth anniversary to the week everyone said, “Oh shit this coronavirus thing is real, huh?” Yesterday, March 11, was the anniversary of the breaking point day, and I guess it’s weird we don’t have a name for that day yet, but maybe the future will call it V-Day, in that it was the start of the virus’s long victory over us. It’s the day you will always talk about when you talk about March 2020, wherever you were when the NBA shut down, Tom Hanks got COVID and then the WHO just went for it and declared it a global pandemic (I had been at karaoke in Red Hook the night before, thinking that as long as we washed our hands before touching the microphone to sing “Everybody Hurts,” we were fine).

In today's members-only issue:
• A recommendation to visit a patch of Irish countryside right in Manhattan
• A reminder to vote in the Merch Madness bracket + check out the FOMO calendar
But first: we had a great thing going with the whole "outside" thing during the pandemic; what happened?
