The last time The Groove had a happy hour, I walked home with a gimp

It's a heartwarming New York story, in the end

Happy Wednesday Team Groven, have you heard that we’re having a summer happy hour today? It’ll be at the Black Crescent again, and we’re getting ready for summer with some new merch and classic drink specials. Get a sneak peak of our soon-to-hit-the-market towels and T-shirts, and have some vodka lemonade — and a free shot for our first 15 members to get there! Maybe you’ll also overlap with a political candidate with a sex podcast, hang with a dog named Sparkles, or see a gimp on your way home — all things that happened to some of us at our spring happy hour back in March.

It being the first 60-degree day (a Spring of Deception classic), I decided to walk home across the Williamsburg Bridge around 8 p.m. When I said bye to Virginia, she said “bon voyage,” something she’s been saying instead of “safe travels,” a better vibe for goodbye. It was a really nice walk; on the bridge I ran into aforementioned Groove favorite Sparkles the dog along with two members of our Groven, Sophia and Quinn. We chatted for a while and when we split off closer to the middle of the bridge, I noticed another potential friend walking towards me.
