Greetings Groovies, holiday party season is firmly upon us, and that means it's time for The New York Groove's biggest and best annual blowout — The No Office Holiday Party! We're hosting it at Littlefield (635 Sackett Street in Brooklyn) on Dec. 18 with doors at 7:30pm.

For the uninitiated, this is our big holiday bash for freelancers, creatives, WFHers and really just anyone who wants to have a big annual office party without the specter of corporate-mandated fun or accidentally getting too drunk in front of your boss. This year's theme is "the boss is going to jail," because hey, it sure does seem like a lot of people in charge are doing a lot of illegal stuff these days, so the least we can do is laugh and drink about it. Here are just a few things that are on the lineup this year:

• Live-band karaoke from the legends at Rockstar Karaoke, do not underestimate how much more fun this is than crooning into a mic over a synth track!
• Sweet local raffle prizes including a very rare, top-secret 🎫 golden ticket 🎫 for next year's Open House New York!
• DJ Doctor Mister to keep you dancing!
