It's only April but hours before I wrote this, I already had my first-of-the-summer experience of getting caught in a sudden rainstorm on my bike, forcing me to duck into a bar to wait it out (tragically, the bar also had pinball).
I was caught unprepared by the season but you don't have to be like me: the next edition of The New York Groove Live! is coming up on May 5 and we'll be talking all things summer in the city, including Dave's attempt to eat nine hot dogs while drinking nine beers, and the city's greatest practical joke: the +Pool.
Joining us under the beach umbrella of knowledge at Caveat this time will be Groove contributor and Gothamist's cool-stuff-finder Hannah Frishberg along with Charlie Todd, founder of Improv Everywhere and co-host of Not In My Backyard! at UCB.

At the last live show, we gave pieces of destroyed relationships cut off the Brooklyn Bridge to audience members, so who knows what could happen this time.
