Nov. 3: We're going live with New York Metro Weather for 'Godzilla' El Nino
NYMW's John Homenuk is back to talk El Nino, winter preview and answer all your Qs about vibes
We're obviously summerheads here at The Groove but I'll admit to you I autumned out hard as hell this past weekend and I loved it. We're talking pumpkin beers by the roaring fire, peeping hard at some leaves, Elvira reruns on the TV, real October type stuff. But I know something truly spooky looms in the horizon this year: winter, and with it a particularly powerful, record-setting, "Godzilla" El Nino, which, much like its lizard namesake, is set to disrupt life in New York City in coming months.
To help everyone understand what that all means and what's in store this winter, we're calling in the only expert we need: New York Metro Weather's John Homenuk is joining the next New York Groove Live! on Nov. 3 at Caveat! Click the image below for tickets.

John β the face behind everyone's favorite plain-language, vibes-based weather account β is back with us again to reveal his preview of the season to come and what you need to know about El Nino this year. The weather effect is already the strongest ever recorded, and it could lead to a particularly unusual winter in the city and around the globe. John joined us at Caveat twice before, and it we're stoked as heck to have him back.
We'll also dig into New York City winter history, play some games and have more surprises.
